Welcome to The Veterans Hub (IOW) C.I.C.

We are a Community Interest Company that became incorporated in November 2020.

We are pleased to announce that we now have a premises that opened on 17th December 2021, based in the heart of Ryde High Street. We are open currently Monday to Friday from 10.00hr to 15.00hrs where you can drop in for a chat and a cup of tea or coffee.

Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Veterans Hub Isle of Wight is clear. To relieve the hardship faced by veterans, currently serving personnel, and associated family and friends who have a direct connection with the Isle of Wight, either past or present, in respect of finance, trauma, isolation and well-being.

The Isle of Wight has a high number of Military Veterans living here and over the last few years after long friendly conversations with service personnel both past and present, their families and friends. We found that there was the need for a Veterans Community Hub on the Island.

The Veterans Hub Isle of Wight was initially the idea of veteran Dale Hillier, who served during the Falkland’s War. With the help of two friends who have served our country and community, along with considerable experience of running companies both on the island and the mainland, they felt that they had the perfect skillset to create a working community business.

Crowd Funding

We are pleased to announce our new Crowd Funding page is now open. You can donate on a regular basis or leave a one off donation it’s up to you.

The donations will be put towards helping local veterans, serving personnel and their families on the Isle of Wight.
