About how the Veterans Hub Isle of Wight came into existence. It was because of discussions that took place over the last 2 years or so. Three friends from Ryde on the Isle of Wight discussed at length the need for a Veterans Community Hub on the island.
With a combination of having served for our country and community along with considerable experience of running companies both on the island and the mainland, we felt we had the perfect ingredients as a threesome to take this further.
Friendly conversations with service personnel both past and present, their families and friends, the general public and emergency services has only emphasized that requirement further.
Due to the success of some small, local charity fundraising events and monthly social meetings we organised with Veterans on the island, it inspired us to take this idea to the next level.
The year 2020 has been a very difficult year for all, And during this time the three of us have undertaken a huge amount of investigative work with a view to taking the next step. The result of those efforts is The Veterans Hub Isle of Wight (IOW) C.I.C.
We are very proud of where we have reached so far with the Veterans Hub Isle of Wight and the hard work continues for what we feel is a massively important and worthwhile cause.
Your support is and will continue to be greatly appreciated.
